Along the shore, every tide leaves behind fragments of a story—weathered driftwood, sea glass polished by decades of waves, and remnants of maritime history. I never carve the wood into something it isn't; I spend months collecting pieces until their natural curves suggest a form. My job is simply to recognize it.
The Ocean Does the Carving
For over thirty years, I represented elite sports properties and negotiated contracts in high-stakes boardrooms. Away from that world, I pursued a private passion: gathering shoreline driftwood and creating sculptures for my own spaces. Today, I share these works publicly, offering contemporary marine pieces that celebrate the resilience, movement, and quiet power of the ocean

From Shoreline Discovery to Your Wall
Every sculpture I create begins along the tides of the New Jersey Shore, where I hand-select weathered driftwood, shells, and sea glass shaped by years of ocean exposure. Back in my studio, I never force or carve the wood; I store and study the pieces until their natural curves begin to suggest a specific marine form. Once the composition reveals itself, I hand-assemble the artwork, balancing every detail until the sculpture feels effortless.
